
Shikun & Binui USA (S&B USA) has been active in the U.S. since 2012 and is now operating out of Pittsburgh, PA through its infrastructure development and equity subsidiary, Shikun & Binui USA Concessions, and its construction subsidiary, Shikun & Binui USA Construction (including Fay founded in 1947 and Fay Southeast founded in 1982). S&B USA develops and builds complex infrastructure projects and specializes in Public-Private Partnership (P3) and Design-Build projects, in which the developer and contractor are responsible for the management of mega projects, including aspects of financing, designing, permitting, maintaining and operating.
In addition, S&B USA is part of the global family of companies Shikun & Binui Ltd. (S&B) established in 1924, an experienced construction, development and real estate group headquartered in Israel.

Tamir Cohen

Tamir is an international executive with two decades of experience in real estate, financial and technology markets. Prior to joining Shikun & Binui, Tamir served for five years as Director and Head of Investments for Capital Foresight, a group of dozens of global real estate, finance and technology companies. His particular area of expertise is in the execution of complex mergers & acquisitions, refinancings, project financings and marketing strategies, as well as in working with regulatory agencies and investment bodies. Tamir earned his LLB degree from the College of Ramat Gan, a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Wharton Business School – University of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Israeli Bar Association.
Sharon Novak

In this role, he is responsible for S&B USA’s energy, concessions, and construction businesses in the US. During the last 3.5 years, Sharon also served as the VP Finance of Shikun & Binui Concessions and as the Head of U.S. Concessions of Shikun & Binui. From his prior roles, Sharon gained extensive experience leading large and complex transactions in the infrastructure, transportation and energy sectors. Sharon holds an MBA from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Psychology from the University of Toronto.
Michael Medina
Chief Financial Officer of S&B USA
As CFO, Michael is responsible for all financial reporting, cash flow and bank relationships, taxes, ISOX, sureties, insurance and corporate structure. He began his career for PWC in audit and has 10 years of global infrastructure experience with Shikun & Binui. Michael began working in the US in 2018 as the Business Manager for the P3 SH288 Tollways Project in Houston, TX and in 2019 was promoted to CFO. He is a CPA and holds a BA in Economics and Accounting from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem; and an Executive MBA (with distinction) from Tel-Aviv University.

Shikun and Binui Energy acquired a 49.5% stake in two solar photovoltaic generation parks. The 107.8 megawatt (MWdc) Beacon Portfolio consists of two projects: Beacon II (59.6 MWdc) and Beacon V (48.2 MWdc), both in Kern County, California.
