  • 1947


    Joseph B. Fay Company was founded in Pittsburgh, PA. Our first project was for Duquesne Light, who remains a valuable customer today.

  • 1974


    Fay's completes its first bridge demolition project on I-90 in Erie, PA. Fay is now a nationally recognized engineered demolition company.

  • 1982


    Waterfront Marine Construction (now Fay Southeast, acquired in 2012) was founded in Virginia Beach, VA to specialize in piling and marine construction.

  • 1993


    Fay was awarded its first marine project (Beaver Falls Dam) and added barges to its equipment fleet.

  • 2005

    2005 Yeagertown

    Fay completes its first of many design-build projects; the 4-span pre-stressed concrete AASHTO I-Beam Yeagertown Bridge for PennDOT.

  • 2007


    Fay is awarded its first $100M+ project, a design-build roadway and bridge reconstruction project from MP 2-10 on the PA Turnpike.

  • 2010


    Waterfront Marine (now Fay Southeast) executes one of the largest pile driving projects (6,500 piles) on the East Coast.

  • 2012


    Fay performs its first demolition of a cable suspension bridge in Steubenville, OH.

  • 2013


    Waterfront Marine (now Fay Southeast) was awarded its first $77M+ project, the MLK Expressway Extension.

  • 2018


    Fay completes its first Accelerated Bridge Construction for the rail industry (Flat Rock River Bridge Design-Build) the company’s sixth successful ABC project.

  • 2019

    2019 SBA

    i+iconUSA is acquired by Shikun & Binui America allowing for strategic business alignment.

  • 2020


    S&B USA Construction opens SH288 Toll Lanes to traffic.

  • 2021


    As a member of the Red River Valley Alliance Team, Shikun & Binui USA, won a contract for the Fargo-Moorhead Area Diversion Channel project in North Dakota.

  • 2022


    Fay, S&B USA Construction was awarded the $154M roads and bridges project at Pittsburgh International Airport.
