We are excited to be attending and exhibiting at the 2026 Maryland Quality Initiative (MdQI) Conference on February 4-5 in Baltimore, MD. Visit Fay, S&B USA Construction’s booth (#815) to learn how we have been leading the way, shaping infrastructure in the Maryland region for over three decades.

Each year, industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from around the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia region converge at the annual MdQI Conference to share insights, explore new ideas, and shape the future of the transportation industry.

Our Project Manager, Greg Smedley, will join CSX and Skanska as part of the presentation team to explain the innovations used in our progressive design-build project to modernize the historic Howard Street Tunnel. Learn how collaborative planning, early contractor involvement, and innovative engineering solutions enabled the Skanksa-Fay project team to safely and efficiently add approximately two feet to the 130-year-old tunnel’s clearance to enable passage of double-stack railcars.
